Love streams through our mysterious being

its daily course seems devoid of trust

Like soldiers marching out of cadence

the jaded soul trembles in total disarray

Why do we keep seeing cross currents

arguments erupting into unnecessary torrents

Grasping for some form of stability in this world wind

The heart struggles to find some underlying issue that the mind missed

Can there still be love within so much heartbreak

That gives ways to the obvious absurdity

Our thoughts try to rationalize our behavior

Yet our daily actions can not hide our true intentions

Why hold a bond that is better off broken?
