Shy, soft spoken, and timid
But lively, silly, and vivid
Humble, composed, and calm
No one could understand
Why I kept to myself
Why I chose a circle of friends
Very few that were just like me
No cares to be noticed
I liked being in the background
Didn’t care for the crowd
Always was my own individual
Preferred my surroundings to be civil
Didn’t care for the loudness
Didn’t care for the wildness
My standards were high
Didn’t just talk to anyone
I’m not stuck up, rude, or mean
I’m just unpopular
Fitting in is not in my category
Nor is being friends with the majority
