I personally relate this poem to two random incidents in my life. I’d rather have the readers have their own interpretation of the poem.

I’ve seen you in the dark

White, cold, aglow, afar

Flanked by all the stars

I’ve seen you unscarred

 …

I’ve seen that round face

Anticipation, no trace

No wrinkles, no marks

I’ve seen you unscarred

…

I’ve seen your humble bosom

Innocence, eyes lonesome

Hair let loose wild, uncared for

I’ve seen you, yet unscarred

 …

I’ve seen those legs stumbling

Breathing, the nose so clean

Naked joy, the wide open heart

I’ve seen you unscarred

 …

I’ve seen that untouched skin

Perfect, no spots, and lips akin

The shadow, that piece of art

I’ve seen thee unscarred

 …

I smiled at thee, damsel in distress

The thorns dressed divine, bless

I laughed, thy unpredictability

At seams, no help from divinity

I promised to stay like this, afar

But only I’ve seen thy last unscarred

This is a wonderful poem..I like the way you described how the person saw her unscarred in so many different ways..throughout she seems to stay a brave soul..

she has lost her soul. no point calling it brave.
