A poem about the seasons, holiday, and thanksgiving. Hope you enjoy!

As the snow begins to fall,
and Autumn quickly passes by,
I still am having a hard time
Kissing summer days goodbye.
I miss the warmth of July,
bright sunshine raining down.
Flowers waving hello,
as they make their appearance
after hiding from the cool spring air.
The leaves take their time,
changing from green to brown.
Falling from the trees,
to the cold wet ground.
You can smell pumpkin pies,
turkey,and mashed potatoes.
Family all around,
giving thanks to surviving another year
and sharing the blessings they have found.
You may not have the same weather,
but the year is coming to an end.
Day by day we’ll get through the winter
and then we’ll enjoy the warm summer.
Until Autumn passes by,
and the snow falls once again
