Until The Last Drop of Rain

You lied to me…

You left my heart to die

But old days diminish,

As time begins to fly

A cut will always heal,

But what of the scar, that remains

A limitless thought of the heart,

Will force my emotions to rain

And every drop of water, that falls from the sky,

Is another day of tears, that my heart has yet to cry

My heart is fill with downpours,

Drowning me in despair,

And yet, the ones who truly love me,

Are the ones who prove they care

And so I lie in wait,

Drowning in my heart

Forever filled with rain,

But never split apart

Waiting for the day,

That we can finally be together again

Because my heart, shines a glimmer of hope,

That I will chase until the end…..
