Life’s little regrets.

I suffered through these in theory at age 13 in 82′
Gang bang beatitudes
and decades of junk food
I still exude a hunger for the lewd
I swam in waters of bad attitudes
Reached for greater altitudes
Ignored a roster full of clues
May I please buy a vowel?
Whatever sense there was has since changed my mood
I shoo shoed away the platitudes
Or what they would prodigiously preclude
Built up instead my fortitudinous
Foolishness

I suffered through the better part of adulthood
With elevated systolic rates
cocaine powdered saucer plates
synthetically induced metabolic drops in weight
2 hazy marriage mates
and the regrets of what i’d lumbered through in my youth

A good writer writes to write. A genuine writer writes from experiences. Wonderful piece :)
