Inspirational in a way. Do you ever wonder what it would be like to get up in the middle of a shift/day stuck in a job you hate and leave? Also about appreciating the simpler things in life that we often forget to look at when caught up in the rush of modern day life. That countryside you ignore because your stuck in a traffic jam, the sun you don’t savour on your skin because you have housework to do….

He sits across from the bus station, with a ticket and no place to go.
He drinks whisky from the bottle, but it doesn’t touch his tongue.
This is what he does now; this is what he’s done
He’s a messenger of different stories.
He’s an upper class bum.

He reads the same paper, every single day
He doesn’t buy another; he knows the news is just the same.
People have no money, they aint happy with what they’ve got

He used to have a suit job, with a phone and a leather case
A laptop, desktop, landline and a pager just in case.
He always took the train then, and drank coffee from a plastic cup.
One day he just upped and left gave the whole lot up.

It’s better to see the sun shining, when you can reach down and feel the heat
It’s better to see the trees in full bloom, with the grass beneath your feet.
Life is not worth living, if you watch it from a far
What’s the point in travelling, if you never get out the car?

Suppose everyones definition will be different, and who am I to argue. To me, he has the money, probably the good eam results and good CV, yet hes chosen to dress in a way people would describe as poor, untidy, homeless etc and reject the accepted way of living, doing shifts or nine to five and chosen a different path.
