A poem about happiness and sadness.

Happiness and sadness

Their origins are unknown to me

They’re just like a fork in the road

The middle is a dead end

Sometimes they cross paths

Other times you’ll travel far

Before you find the other side

You may almost run on empty

Happiness can be a short journey

A straight and narrow road

Full of attractions

Take pictures and enjoy the scenery

Sadness can be long and dark

A landslide waiting to happen

Leaving you stranded and helpless

Pitch black

Whatever road you’re on

It’s not always a choice

No matter what

Hold on tight

I’m afraid that’s life. We just have to make the most of it. Nice work.
