My childhood reminiscence.
I remember to those days
Where I looked at the world from upside-down
Do you recall that old place
Where your childhood innocence is found?
Valiantly perched on top of the slide
Survey from the top, your destination
In one quick drop you cease to glide
Only to sprint back to elevation
Sitting atop the swing set high
The rhythm of that redundant motion
In sync with the daydream you could fly
Feeding that impossible notion
Reposing, returning back to the Earth
Tranquil, watching the clouds pass
To ridiculous theories you gave birth
Laying so peacefully in the soft grass
Your favourite was always the monkey bars
To that memory you’ll forever be bound
Blood rushing to your head until you saw stars
As you looked at the world from upside-down
