The bad behaviour of people towards poets which causes them anguish.

In my teen age days, I was crazy for Urdu Verse,
My passion was fantastic and my style quite terse,
Listeners used to encircle me an called me Mirza Galib,
Which stimulated my passion & provided much frolic,
Few persons understood the couplets,
But majority was of duffers,
Who never knew about rhyme,
And behaved like odious buggers,
Even before my reciting, they started praising my verse,
Which was quite insulting and which ruined my nerves,
In every gathering, I was asked to recite Urdu Verse,
As if I was a Urdu clown far from any worth,
Gradually, I understood the villainy of the fiends,
And vowed never to please them by my Urdu brilliance.
