Our culture reflects another,
The culture of the dominant western power, the USA
Like soldiers marching to a leader’s pace in uniform.

We use American products, act like Americans, and watch American TV,
A crippled computer program copied from a superior form.
Programmed to act like them, yet never exceed,
Cowering behind their ideas, having none of our own.

Though we do not bear their symbols,
We are in truth no different to them,
Having no unique culture,
Almost being the 51st state of the USA.

America, the dominant country in its world,
Threatening the world to act like it,
Do its bidding,
A King and his subjects.

The golden eagle, swooping down on other cultures,
Picking out the differences,
Uncle Sam, the forceful figure,
Telling you, and your country
To March in his path,
A path surrounded with littered with trip mines.
