A rhyme-royal.

“Why have I awoken?”

The thought when night was broken.

I pinched myself and groaned,

And sat there feeling doomed.

Prepared, like the daily routine

Rushed and ran to avoid being late

“Eat,” my inner-voice shouted.

“No!” I verbally retaliate…

Along the road, “today I leave all to fate”.

When you are broken from pains of love,
    You feel life sleep away.
    Everything around becomes a task,
    You want to slip away.

The world around you begins to cry,
The life within you begins to die.
You just collapse into a heap,
    Feeling energy within you seep.

Slowly you take the morsel to eat,
But you have a lump at heartbeat.
You feel the taste that insipid,
    Tears pouring like a rapid.

You eat and move to sustain,
From smiles of people energy gain.
With hope and for a better tomorrow,
    Respite from the broken sorrow.

True love feels the cut so true,
It leaves you broken, drains the hue.
It takes a lifetime for it to heal,
But the wound may never seal.

I understand that pain all to well as I have been through it… Its the hardest but it gets a little easy in time but you are never the same… Many people never love again when the love for that person is true…
