Inevitable as an interlude.
The system will prevail
At once unattainable
Is the fate of the knight valiant,
The esoteric Hope
Who suffers the kingly,
Affords consolation to the lowly,
And dedicates the trite.
Developing a rapport with the past,
Respecting what’s to come,
Wading through the cementing present.
My duty leads me
Over the cliffs,
Beyond the depths,
Into the hollows,
Where time reverberates quietly.
The point of origin
Resonates cleanly.
The winds of change
Rise slowly.
A sparrow
Cinches lightly
Suing its refrain.
