A poem about being in temptation.

You’re wandering through the desert

Only dragging yourself deeper into the mirage

Thirsting in the image of water

The sand becomes your toxicity

The heat is an endless hell

Yet it appeals to your desolate heart

Instinct tells you to go one way

But your sight tells you another

You must be careful though

Sand storms come quickly

Blinding your eyes to the truth

Vulnerable to attack

Wet or dry

Drink and die

Help yourself

Or fall to your knees
