Silly rhymes and silly thoughts, but with a bit of meaning, too.

What do sunflowers do at night?
Do they furl their leaves, and turn out the light?
They greet the sun at break of day,
And follow it’s path as it goes on its way.
Morning Glory greets the sun
Before the dew is dried and gone;
Four O’clocks their buds unfurl
As Sun his last light beams hurl.
Cardinal climbers are points of light
In a green and leafy height;
Moonvines make sweet the night
When Sun has gone out of sight.
But what do sunflowers do at night?
Do they furl their leaves, and turn out the light?
Or do they shiver in frigid fear
That the sun may not reappear.
