Directed at the 12 roommates and their friends that all used and abandoned me when I needed them the most.
So many of you have come and gone
Hear is where the line is drawn
I’ve provided for so many of you a place to stay
Somewhere for your head to lay
Yet here I am getting evicted
Losing everything and the place has shifted
I tried for all of us to keep this place
But now no one’s here at the end of the race
I gave and gave
Yet most of you still took
I’ve been left with nothing except this book
Most of you just take for granted
All the things which you have been handed
Some of you were downright cruel
You must have mistaken me for a fool
I just don’t understand your way of living
You’re always taking
Yet rarely giving
You think you have the right
To do and take whatever you want
You have no thought
Of what it was that you originally sought
But you want everything in sight
As if it is just your right
My question to you is
How the hell do you think it’s okay
To take from the ones that give so much away
I fell I have worked my ass off for nothing
But you will get what you have coming
Focus on myself
I’m moving on
I’m satisfied that I’m still here
But you are gone!
