About being violated.

Bruised, broken, thunderstruck
Mind and body in a muck
Invasion of her very soul
Being a girl, her biggest toll

Quite unable to touch herself
A filth that no soap can ever cleanse
Shattered dreams, strangled hopes
She’ll trust no man, not even the pope

He quickly pounced onto her
Intoxicated mind in a blur
Her panicked screams aroused him more
Virtue behind, lust in the fore

She squeezed, she pinched, she bit and slapped
His eyes devoured her, her skin unwrapped
As he intruded, she burst in pain
The damage done, but thought did reign

I related to your poem. Thanks for writing this article. Some people have no idea how helpful it is to know that others understand and write about real life experiences that others can relate and maybe even come to peace with oneself. Keep writing your GREAT!

Once again a very intense poem. Sort of touched me inside about the suffering of a rape victim. Please keep it up. You are very good.

Yes, intense is the right word for this one. I liked it. It is very valuable to share thoughts about such topics, to make people think twice about these things.. Well done!
