We must be a witness while we can, because those going to Hell are without Hope, unless we go out and try to reach them.
To see the hopeless as they are.
Not merely for our profit and gain.
For by their sin they have been scarred,
And by their sin they have been stained.
To see the hopeless as they are,
Not just to pass uncaring by.
But wash and dress their wounds and scars,
And for their rest to pay the price!
To see the hopeless as they are,
Not merely for our selves to please,
But God did wash away our scars,
Oh, see men not as walking trees!
But souls worth seeking, striving for
In simple, fervent, heartfelt prayer.
And for their souls to beg, implore,
That up in Heaven, we see them there!
To see the hell that burns with fire
Prepared to seal the Devil’s fate.
That we to witness be inspired,
Before it’s said of them, “Too late!”
For, oh, it’s such a real place,
Of pain, despair, and agony,
But God the Lord in matchless grace,
Would spare you that awful Eternity!
We all must give account one day
For what we did with Christ the Lord,
Will you be pained at what He will say,
Or hear a bless’d, “Enter to thy reward!”?
