This is the last day of my oldest grandson’s visit. Tomorrow, I have to go back to the business of earning a living and getting ready for the next school year. We play video games, and plan for the afternoon.

Overcast skies, a break in the heat;
Thoughts of Ice Cream, can’t be beat.
Sitting in the study, playing video games
Thinking of a park, might go to the same.

Summer vacation; what a joy.
Companionable moments with my oldest grand-boy.
Forever might be too short to live this way;
Too bad it can only be for today.

    Very nice. It is great when the grandkids get to spend time with us. The ice cream looks very tempting also!

    I just ran out of ice cream last night and then you show this picture of Ice Cream. I could just Scream! It’s 13 miles of backroads to get some.

    Glad you made the best of your grand boy.

    Very hard for me to read, because, although I dont have grandchildren, my son lives away from me with his mother, and recently informed me that he could not come for a visit this year. With the farm animals, and work, I know I cannot get away to visit him either.

    Lovely, Daisy. Because of distance, I only get to see my grandkids a couple of times a year.
