This is a beautiful story about one man’s decision to set the record straight with a grave wrong done to him and his family. It’s entirely fictional.I enjoyed creating this one….
VITO VOW…………………………..(i wrote this exciting song yesterday).
I wrote this exciting song yesterday. It is amusingly spiced with brief commentaries to bring the story of the song into a fruitful understanding…….
Intro-commentary:His name was Vito Vladimir Johannes VanBowen. His generation was of a time when many had gone berserk with a lot of atrocious deeds on the rampage.Justice denied was the fate of many in the path of injustice due to a lot of ineptitude ignorance and sheer wickedness……’Vito Vow’ popularly called by his friends did the best for his people in the face of an enormous grievious injustice and brutal crime…….
First Verse:One after the other
The jury let them go
The court was in disorder
With many sadly saying no
Vito bowed his head in dismay
These were the men who had slain
His precious family away
He vowed growing in pain
Chorus:(a)Vito vow I will deal with you
Tito now none will go scot-free
Vito vow dear Lord see me through
Ditto bow rest in peace daddy
(b)There are times when you have to speak There are times when silence means consent Being kind does not mean you are weak Peace of mind is doing as God sent
Mid-commentary:It was an eyesore being a witness to the brutal killings of many renowned men and women of integrity as a young boy. Some were maimed whiles others were poisoned, hanged, brutalised, tortured, murdered, slaughtered among others..
And so with dedicated tactics he eliminated all the wicked and treacherous criminals in similar terms with time……..
Second Verse:With calculated precision
He persued them one by one
His vindictive desicion
Was met with a well done
Vito showed his courage proof
Unmasking the evil ones
Vengence is the Lord’s to roof
Yet He uses available ones
(Repeat chorus……………………………………………………………….)
Third Verse:In uncontrollable tears
He stood infront of a tombstone
Many were the wailing years
He had finally redeemed his own
Peter Sergio Johannes VanBowen
Was his father’s name
Vito Vladimir Johannes VanBowen
His name spelled out aflame
End-commentary:The wind was blowing with a cool breeze as he approached the resting place of his dad with a bouquet of flowers in hand.He searched row by row for the grave of his old man.Hecame across those of some of his father’s cronies and payed his respects with a bow in each occurance. Finally he knelt down, bowed his head with a kiss and payed his due respect. At last he was a free man…
Footnote:All characters in this song are entirely fictional and so any close resemblance to any individual living or dead is a sheer coincidence.
It has come to my creative notice that every story told in a movie, novel or song deserves to be properly narrated and well written for varied classes of lessons to be learnt in the school of life.Every story be it good or bad has an important lesson to teach in life.Although age limit, level of maturity and the depth of confidential interest should be considered to serve as a wise leverage of service in meeting the needs of the general public at hand.Genuine creativity in story telling and presentations cannot be robbed of accuracy in the enterprise of making good compositions.
A story well told with interesting twists and turns woos and wins an audience for a lifetime.
I’m always excited when I set my pen on paper to write a song.lol! When I’m writing a song it’s like I’m making a movie in my mind…ha ha ha ha…..
When asked about the primary motive behind all my writing,I simply smile and say I enjoy writing to entertain……
