This is a poem about the first time I’ve heard of my bf’s voice who lives halfway across the world.
Through invisible wires and satellites,
Your dear voice can be heard.
Tingling my ears, making me smile,
As you speak every written word.
Your voice that I can only once imagine,
Now whispers only in my ears.
I cannot explain nor where to begin,
But your voice, despite the distance, makes me feel that you are near.
Your cries and shy laughs,
This sweet melody echoing in my mind.
I do not think I will ever get enough,
For your voice is unique; one of a kind.
Through invisible wires and satellites,
Your dear voice can be heard.
Tingling my ears, making me smile,
As you speak every written word.
