It’s about how sometimes people sit around and wait for something bad to happen. But then they get nervous waiting around, so they get up to go find it, the bad things that is. It’s not good to be looking for bad things.
bats stationed quietly
in a dark corner of the garage
they wait patiently
to drain your blood
they engulf
whatever thoughts they can
you try to fight back
but what use is that
when you allow them in
when you allow them to see you
in your most vulnerable moments
stationed in the darkest of corners
in a garage made for bats
they wait quietly and patiently
knowing you’ll be out to see them
sooner or later
