Watch as well as you listen.
Didn’t know I was in hell until I looked around and saw a world in turmoil
A world of broken dreams, broken smiles and broken hearts, living on the edge
Holding onto a life line and there is no one at the other end to pull them in
Waiting and wondering, trying to keep the faith, believing that someone cares
Not knowing there is no one at the other end who even gives a damn
For they are too busy finding ways to push you over board without a life jacket
Hold on tight, there is a long rocky ride ahead, road blocks at every turn
A sign up ahead saying you have come to a folk in the road, turn back
Choose your path, keep going, those on the other end who couldn’t give
A damn would want you to turn back, no matter what path you choose,
It’s better then what’s behind you
