A poem.

I do believe I have sailed upon something great,
perfectly visible from the deck in my backyard.
some brand new creature, I think,
known only to the natives, but I’ll go ahead and name it.
It is my own discovery.

Actually, it discovered me,
unaware, barefoot and in bed-clothes.

It rose up silent like a monster from the sea,
looked at me
and settled back down the same.

What was that?
By what star did I navigate?
What hidden river had I sailed up in the night?

It was an eerie thing
grey, and dim, and dull … But none of those at all,
It was like a picture turning into something real.

Tomorrow I will feel my way back there
stir the waters myself,
this time prepared with a cup of coffee,
and the ability to ask all the right questions.

Intriguing. Don’t know if I understand it. Sounds like an idea hatching.

    Vague: what’s the idea?

You should always be prepared for the right questions, some things only happen once in a life time
