No One and Nowhere
Nowhereland is no fun.
Waking Up in Nowhereland
Neverland was fun
Wonderland full of puns
But waking when I woke up in Nowhereland
There was no helping hand
No smiling welcoming face
Nothing joyous in this entire place
There is no tea party to attend
No pirates for a battle to rend
No lost children afraid to grow up staying up late
No bunnies hopping around complaining about being late
I cannot even hear a queen yelling “off with his head”
Nor do I see children flying back into their beds
The only things I see are dead
Roses wilted, rusted over gates
None of dark joy makes me elate
Instead this land makes me want to cry
The darkness consumes the keen happiness of my eye
The ground is cold
The people seem deserted and old
More like lost zombies tragically lost
They walk around on this dead land’s frost
The air is so cold and frigid
The people’s hearts are so rigid.
I did not choose to wake up in Nowhereland
The last thing I remember was seeing was the normal world, oh so bland.
Now that I’m here all alone,
Somebody please help me, I’d like to go home.
