Sonnet about wall street.
Wall Street Weasels
Degregulate financial markets,
Turn those bulls loose –
Package up financial instruments,
Give that market a goose!
Mortgages traded like baseball cards,
Family dreams tossed into the wind;
Suit-and-tie predators pounce, bite hard
Commissions pocketed again and again.
These weasels should learn new feats,
Altruistic traits and beneficial habits;
Wise actions, cooperation more complete,
Than random screwing of traders (like rabbits).
A new sensible economics could take hold,
More decent and caring world would unfold.
