Childhood is a precious stage of life.

I loved those laughs and leisure time,
Those ice creams, candies and juice of lime.
Nothing I cared and missed no one right then,
I grew up to be a part of messy world don’t know when.
Cut throat competition and surviving till then,
World is not so simple I realized, like all men.
Time is precious for me and every moment counts,
Night reminds me of tomorrow’s pressure and haunts.
I am a father now and have home to take care,
How much I miss my childhood, its not so fare.
If only I had power to stop time in my hand,
My dreamy world would not have melted in sand.
When I watch my kid play and rejoice alone,
I feel proud that time has not just gone.
When I stare at his face and cute little eyes,
It shows me picture of all those moments nice.
