War is too overrated,

but it is never truly outdated.

From ants fighting over a crumb of bread,

to bees fighting for honey instead.

From two boys fighting over a piece of toast,

to who wins at kickball the most.

From two people disputing over a parking space,

to a severe attack on an army base.

From battles between the Middle East and the Northwest,

to a very deep presidential test.

The missiles are beginning to arm,

this is a future of great harm.

The missiles go off and with them comes a toxic haze,

soon to bring the world to the end of its days.

Missiles fire from place to place,

shaping the Earth a new face.

In the matter of seconds hope is lost,

and humanity has to pay the cost…
