Life.
We agreed on a few things
Several years ago.
We compromised on many things
And let our egos go.
We built a fortress strengthened by time.
Hail to relationship glory; you are mine.
Thunderclouds above us, I fear the outcome.
Rain pouring down
Lightning striking ground
The black clouds show no mercy
The wind blowing high.
This night is to stay for several days.
With the touch of moon dust
My venom finds solace.
And as the eyes fuse into one color
The color of blood
On a dead man’s face;
I change into the winged beast
Once more, in the fortress we built.
The chains cannot hold me down
This time, again, after several years
I break free to hurt anyone I see.
There will be pain.
As bloodshed to stain.

I will not come down so easily
The sword in my hand
No longer protects thee.
The one on one fight
With heavy winds
Whistling in our ears.
I scream without mercy
To blend with the wind’s voice.
Your eyes show fury at the change
Your eyes show fear at the change.
You cannot hurt me as much
As I hurt myself as I hurt you.
Then the sudden realization
We compromised on many things
And let our egos go.
I let down my guard and fall at my feet.
You rushed at me and held me dying
With the wind dying down,
I was losing conscious of all around
You then breathed life into me
Hail to relationship glory, I am yours.
The eyes diffuse and turn normal.
The storm has cleared.
The beast inside of me,
Sleeps so peacefully
As the calm lets the first ray
Of sunshine break upon you
As you breathe life into me.
You gently stroke my hair,
We agreed on a few things
Several years ago.
