Perhaps I haven’t been as patient as I should have.
Perhaps I pressured you.
Maybe the person that I see you as,
isn’t really the person that you are.
Maybe I didn’t see the real you.
Maybe I saw who I wanted you to be.
Perhaps I should have looked closely then,
because now you are too far away.
