A poem about war. It’s the best I could do (I know it’s not very good).
Blood rushes through my skin
My heart pumps like hell
I hope I forget all i’ve seen
Yet I sense my friend’s dead bodies’ smell
I look around
People in armor
I know they have a great wound
They know they are Pain’s farmer
Have you ever killed someone?
It does feel horrible
I felt so sorrowful and alone
If I survive this, it will only be a miracle
PUM PUM PUM PUM
I hear the drums tremble
PUM PUM PUM PUM
A heart’s pumping, it resembles
Adrenaline is the result
Anger towards the rival
They are an insult
A problem since their arrival
Hear my battlecry
Beat bravely the drum
For I will not die
But hero I will become
Dance graceously through the battlefield
The songs are the agony cries
The beat is my heart’s
And their warnings are a bunch of lies
I see a white flag on the west
A sign of their surrender
A sign of our conquest
Now they know we are not tender
We are valiant yet humble
We are warrior yet peacemakers
Our empire shall never crumble
We say the truth, we are not fakers
We see success
Like a bright sun in the darkest night
And I feel the need to confess
I hope our ways of life are right
