Can’t wait until Spring arrives.

Warmer weather’s coming

All the children will be outdoors

Running around and playing

Making the most of Spring time

Everyone will be filled with joy

Relaxing in the warm sunshine

Warmer weather’s coming

Erasing the chill of Winter

Adventures to be enjoyed

Trips to mountains and beaches

Hanging out at local parks

Enjoying feeding the ducks

Running through grassy fields

Strolling along nature trails

Cold weather is leaving soon

Outside will be sunny and warm

Many families having picnics

Indulging in delicious foods

Nature’s splendor to behold

Going on long scenic drives

The first sign that I have that Spring is coming, is Canadian geese have come back to my backyard despite the fact that we still have snow on the ground and still cold. My backyard goes to a river bank and I get a lot of geese coming back every year to hatch another bunch of new offspring. I have to put up with the poop until about June when the young can fly.

wow sounds very inviting,I became a little nostalgic while reading this piece,as the activities of the children mentioned in the poem reminded me of my childhood.

Some poets you can get, not necessarily bored with, that’s not quite fair, but let’s say they become predictable.

You on the other hand seem to know how to convey happiness from any situation in such a way as to hold your reader with joy.

    I love your work :)
