Please be careful and handle with care
I am not a glass bowl or delicate silverware
I am composed of emotions we all share
Just be careful and handle with care
It might not be apparent at first glance
The way we interface and feeling we stomp
Because I am as fragile as an ancient lamp
That cannot be repair once crush and smash
I do not carry a sign with instructions
If I did you might not read or care
My conversation is to bring it to your attention
The damage that could occur so just beware
The golden rule is in effect
Check any rudeness at the alley or door
To be kind and willing to listen
Is ability we grown folks have?
A basic behavior taught in our youth
Disappear during adulthood
It is not hard to believe or understand
Why it is knowledge not share with the younger generation
So be careful and handle with care
Leave no marks on my soul or other hardware
Kindness is required to mend me
Labels not read can harm me
A gesture of goodwill will work also
It is what we do whether then what is told
For those of us that care for other
Know the value of
Please handle with care and value others
