Why do they do it?
Force me to see
The pain and the violence
All around me?
Why did they do it?
Destroy my life’s fantasy
Ignore the sweet beauty
and emphasize the cruelty?
Why would they do it?
To be feared and not loved
Never be trusted
And not rise above?
