A poem about Racism.
In The South it is quiet,
although it’s dark and gloomy.
We did not want to abuse you,
You weren’t like us cause you are cheaper.
You weren’t like us cause you can prevail through.
Please don’t hold in the hate,
We apologized to you.
We needed the crops and your work,
For our own great peaceful family.
We gave you programs and we helped you through.
Why don’t you just leave it,
The past is the past please leave.
Go to the future and remember,
We are here for you now and you know
Now stop Racism don’t call us crackers.
How are we any different?
