We dare to steal.

Funny how little things make us smile

Briefly, for a minute, we forget

Our fears, our heartaches, our sorrows

And we dare to steal.

We steal precious moments

Turn them into memories

We can bask in when we want,

Easing our minds for a while.

Knowing though that it won’t last,

We’d steal those moments again

Without a second thought,

If given the chance.
