Are you dreaming?

I sit in front of a blank TV screen
A gray sandstorm
I forget what I was doing
But it’s over now
The sun is coming up
Every night I tend to ride the darkness until the light comes
There is no time at night
Its one oblivious moment
I open a scab and it bubbles
A virtual sun swims in the red plasma
Its morning
I almost feel guilty
Its impressive or maybe just interesting
But not encouraged
I lay down at dawn
Bury my face in the pillow
I start to sink
A quiet spider starts to spin webs over my body
I don’t notice him
Little black elastic threads
I feel the webs and they vanish
Only until I start to sink once again
I forget about them
The threads become webs
I start to sink faster
Now the webs have become an ocean eternal
I swim between abstraction and adventure
Lost in oblivion
I am driven by whatever happens to drive my
On and on through endless direction
I finally am swept ashore where i gently awake
That small dark spider got me again
