At lunch today I made a mad rush to three gloriously colored trees I spotted the other day. I was amazed at the many colors of the autumn leaves displayed and it put me somewhat in the mind of Joseph’s coat of many colors, but what I loved was the spirit of others as they stopped to see what had captured my attention. God is everywhere, if we would but stop and look. I apologize for one picture that is a little blurry, but my camera’s macro does not work with the motion feature. I wanted a close up and there was a breeze today, so I took a chance. I hope you enjoy these as much as I did.
I had something better to do at lunch today
Than eat and while my time away.
My camera and I went to see
Beautiful wonders God made for me.
Along the road side three glorious trees
Stood as pretty as they could please.
Shades of green, yellow, gold, red,
Pink and orange on their branches spread.
My clumsy words just get in the way
Of describing the beauty that’s on display.
I pause and wonder why God shared this with me.
It surely is a mystery.
