Was a song I did awhile ago now. I used a minimalistic style because it flowed better in my head and I hope you like it as a poem. I altered some as I don’t have it on me.
We used to play piano
Sat together
On A stool
You and I
We played all night
But that was all
Up here so long ago.
And now you walk
Though the doorway
A stranger
Just like me.
I guess in time
That’s part of the danger
We learn to forget ourselves
Or maybe that’s just me.
