I promised my faithful readers that I would keep them posted on this story. So this is the newest installment. It’s really not looking too promising….

A cloud of suspicion looms overhead
The wind has picked up
But not enough to cover your tracks
If that’s what you were hoping for
And in its wake, the stench of deceit
I did not have to search very far
To discover the source of the odor
Why is it that we cannot keep
Our ship out of the choppy waters?
Didn’t we agree not to take this course again?
If we manned the helm together
We could steer a straight path
But you seem to want to do things
Your own way – disregard me
And want me to sit, docile, by your side
While you dash our vessel upon the rocks
Did you never hear the old saying
What’s good for the goose
Is good for the gander
I want control of my own destiny
I’m responsible for my own happiness
I will not let you destroy it
With your careless attempts to pilot the ship
By your own self-serving rules
The waves are breaking over the bow
It won’t be much longer
Before the boat capsizes
But I have my life jacket at the ready
I hope you have one also
