Weather the Storm

A painful reminder of what happens in relationships when those involved haven’t learned how to constructively resolve conflict. (OUCH!)

A gentle breeze blows thoughts of you

Through my mind – I smile

But in the distance, a dark cloud approaches

And the rain will wash it all away

If only we’d taken the time to learn

How to weather the storms

And navigate the angry seas

Together, helping each other

Instead of drifting apart

What will become of us

When the strained ties that bind

Us together finally reach their

BREAKING POINT????

Will we be able to use the good times

To carry us through the bad?

For now I let the beauty of the day

Remind me of pleasant moments

But beware; the storm approaches

learning is lifelong and even in the storm we learn, and i agree its wise to prepare ahead. great peice ashan.
