Wedding Greeting

This is a greeting that I wrote for a friend of mine who attended a wedding of his close friend.

Wedding Greeting

The stars have aligned and brought you together

Two wonderful people to be joined forever

By the love and the passion that’s burning inside

To make your journey an unforgettable ride

And so on this day as your vows are said

With the birds singing melodies up overhead

May the troubles upon you melt away with the sun

May your worries be few on this day and beyond

May happiness fill up your heart and not sorrow

So that you’ll always find a brighter tomorrow

May your journey through life be a fairy tale kind

Filled with magic, adventure, and fun all the while

May the bond you’ve created only strengthen each day

And never be broken no matter what comes your way

You are made for each other that is clear to see

And you’ll be linked as one for all of eternity
