A poem about the excitement of something as simple as an anticipated kiss…

Image via Wikipedia

Words now make me guess,
Puzzles fill my mind with lovely rhyme.
Unknown escapades for us to test.

Memories acquaint,
As to decorate my reflection.
Mosaic pieces for thoughts to paint.

Butterflies flutter,
In frenzy from their weakened shelter,
Where emotions herd them to clutter.

Warm beneath my skin,
Blood pulses like a river flowing.
Chemicals reacting from within.

Anticipated bliss,
Tickles my very sense of reason,
And solely weights upon your kiss.
