This is a short poem I wrote a couple months back for Halloween.
Welcome to the night.
You’ll soon be full of fright.
Fear is at its height.
Someone please turn on the light.
Young children search for a treat.
Ghosts and goblins rule the street.
The taste of candy is so sweet.
Trick-or-treating can’t be beat.
Good and evil fight.
Scaring is a delight.
What a frightful sight.
