We’re Living In A War Zone
We’re living in a war zone
Where bullets are flying
And people are dying
Do you hear me?
We’re living in a war zone!!!
Can’t you see,the hearts of our children have turned to stone
Because they have no instruction to keep them atone
Often their found all alone
Running for their lives
In the middle of a war zone.
What can I do?
Do you hear me? We’re living in a war zone.
The law of man has changed our country
They’ve stripped our parents of most of their rights
Which has put them in a major fight
You see,some wan’t to do right
But others,they have no clue
They live in the dark and have never seen the light
So how can they do right?
Stuck living in a war zone day and night.
Can you tell me that?How can they do right?!!!
Do you hear me? We’re living in a war zone.
Our country is named the United States,
The land of the free and the home of the brave
But wait,some people are still being treated like slaves
Can you tell me why,or would you prefer to tell me a lie?
You see,we’re still living in a war zone
And I’ve seen people die
In this country where they say liberty and justice is for all
It’s a country in the middle of a great big fall
Do anybody care? Who wants to carry the ball?
Let me know when you give me a call to tell me who’s left
Standing strong and tall.We’re living in a war zone
And most people put up a wall
So they don’t have to answer the people at all

Before it’s to late, too many of our children are going too early
To the pearly gates.Oh!wait,is today the date that we join in
Prayer and teach our children fate?You know they really are
Great and deserve a clean slate,and you know it’s really not to
Late.So help our children and don’t hesitate to get them out of
This war zone,now that they have fate.Now don’t that feel
Great to love and not hate?We no longer live in a war zone
The all mighty who sits on the throne
I thank him for giving me life and making me grown
Thank god we no longer have to live in a war zone.
