Who am I to question a love so fine

What have I said in the years gone past

That within your heart I will forever last

What have I done to keep you around

So our love can be saved and sacred ground

When I saw your face then I began to miss

The love we shared and the lips I kissed

When I looked into your eyes do you know what I see

A person who is still in love with a person such as me

When I held your hand did your feel what I feel

I felt the love of a woman who’s love for me is real

When I kissed your lips I felt the future still for me

I sensed a place in your heart I longed to be

I felt your pain deep inside your feelings you did not hide

Your feelings you shared I kept the pain and in you I can confide

Where will I be just years from now, will life be kind

and will I still be in your heart and on your mind

These are questions I cannot answer for God has his plan

I know I need to trust in Him and He will lead me by the hand

So now our love is still there to share

Your feelings you’ve shown, I know you care

Things have come between our love and now keep us apart

The distance between us is only as far as a pen
