Knowing that I cannot change what has happened, but I no longer want you to hurt me.

Hoping that I could hold you once more,
Knowing that you are going to leave my heart weak and sore.
Knowing that I still have so many feelings for you,
but no longer sure if I know what to do.

Wishing that I truly knew how I felt,
for you don’t even know what is real.
Realizing you could be messing with me,
but hoping you will one day see.

Unable to trust you any longer,
leaving from this I will end up stronger.
Knowing you kept on lying to my face,
all the pain you will never be able to replace.

Realizing you were just a fake,
when you let my heart break.
Unable to remove your face from my mind,
still unsure of what I’m going to find.

My tears slowly streaming from my eyes,
as my heart slowly dies.
Wishing you were able to see the pain,
knowing one day I will truly go insane.

Listening to all these lies being told by me,
and now I have to let you be.
Knowing it will hurt even more,
wishing I was able to leave you feeling sore.

Wanting to cry out for you to be here,
only loving you so dear.
Trying not to cry in front of you,
for I no longer know what to do.

Letting it happen three times was not very smart,
knowing all to well you never cared from the start.
Realizing how many times you lied,
holding in all the tears I have cried.

Rushing to work evryday to be by your side,
but now every emotion I must hide.
Only wanting you to hold me one last time,
for you are no longer mine.

Using me for something could get anywhere,
just hoping one day you would care.
Leaving me all alone with nothing to say,
knowing it must be done today.

Afraid my heart is under attack,
unsure of how you are going to react.
Unable to change what has been done,
for now my belly shows your son.
