What has happened to the world today,
I’m just unable to understand,
After years of progress and development,
Where do we ultimately stand?
Was this the world we had dreamt of?,
Had we dreamt of a world which would elevate blood-shed and vehemence,
Why don’t we apprehend that the beauty of life,
Lies in peace,love and non-violence.
Let all of us pledge today,
That we would always remain compassionate towards each other,
And would thereby lay,
The foundation of a beautiful world together……………
