Why is always the case

that the oppressed ones

have to pay the price

of the crimes of someone else.

How many children must die, and

How many more women must be raped

to satisfy the ego of domination

and fulfill the drive for control.

How much more torture and mutilation

the oppressed has to endure

to satisfy the thirst for blood

of the greedy security industry.

How many more houses

need to be destroyed

and farm land be contaminated

to know they are not a danger.

How many more murders

we need to go through

to finally the media

start reporting the truth.

When is going to be enough of suffering

and intended human tragedy

to finally declare victory

and terminate the massacre of war.
