This article in form of poem clearly defines the animal ‘Rhinoceros’ and its features.

The class is Mammalian

The order is called ‘Perissodactyla’ and

‘Rhinocerotidae’ is the family name.

World traders made us extinct.

You can address me as a bull

Cow is my better half

And Calf is my young fellow

But generally we are Rhinos.

We as a family live in a warm climate,

Some in Asia while others in Africa.

Our origin could be traced from Africa,

We evolved since 40 million years ago.

We are big types with amazing features

Our horns are second to none

Apart from Hippopotamus and Elephant,

The largest mammal we are

Rhinos legs are pillar like covered with thick skin

Four legs as usual with three toes

Beautified with broad and hooflike nails

Looking clumsy though very agile

Thanks to human for identifying us

More special thanks to Rhino Owners Association

And the International Rhino Foundation

Our surviving species you would find out from them.

It is a sad fact that Rhinocheros is almost extinct. Great article!
